Hello! I live in the Southwest Michigan area with my husband and our three children. You will read more about them in my first book, Like a Flower Grows. Some of my favorite things to do include spending time with my family, writing and journaling, reading and studying, and exercising.
I am an active volunteer and member of my church. Currently, I volunteer in the women’s, worship arts, small group, and response ministries.
In my professional life, I provide counseling (and supervision for other counselors) with a Christian counseling center. I also teach college courses as a psychologist.
I have also been involved in advocacy for neuromuscular diseases and Charcot Marie Tooth (CMT). I facilitate a CMT support group in Southwest Michigan. I write and edit the Neuromuscular Diseases site at BellaOnline.com which can be found at http://www.bellaonline.com/site/NeuromuscularDiseases . You can learn about neuromuscular disease and CMT (which you have probably never heard of) at this site.
In 2011, I was honored to receive the Robert Ross Muscular Diseases Association Personal Achievement Award for Michigan.
I hope that you enjoy Like a Flower Grows and that it help you in your spiritual growth. To Him be all the glory!
